 Pinellas Chapter Florida Native Plant Society home Meetings Calendar resources Newsletter Volunteer subscribe Grants Welcome to the Pinellas Chapter January 8th: Florida's Native Palms Jan 11th: Field Trip to Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum -- With over 200 members, the Pinellas Chapter is one of the state's largest and has activities year-round: monthly meetings and field trips, twice-a-year plant sales, annual landscape tour, and occasional volunteer work days. At its monthly meetings Pinellas Chapter members gather to hear an entertaining and informative speaker on a topic related to Florida native plants. Membership meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at Moccasin Lake Nature Park in Clearwater , and begin at 6:30 p.m. Please join us! In addition to the program you will enjoy fellowship and light refreshments, a silent auction of native plants, a "seed swap," and a roundup of compelling local environmental issues and upcoming events. Monthly field trips are usually (but not always) held the Saturday following the membership meeting. The public is welcome to participate in all Pinellas Chapter activities. Consult our program calendar for upcoming speakers, directions and maps. Carpooling to meetings and field trips is encouraged. If you would like to share a ride with someone, please email pinellasfnps@gmail.com with your contact information and location and we will try to match you with someone. All chapter members are invited to attend board meetings. Date/time/location varies.
